Under vertical milling on DMG MORI Australia's site, in a 2019 archived copy, the MILLTAP 700 is described as a compact machining center. It travels 700 mm in X, 420 mm in Y and 380 mm in Z over an 840 by 420 mm table that holds up to 400 kg, with room for parts 250 mm tall. The spindle turns 10,000 rpm as standard and 24,000 rpm as an option. Rapid traverse on every linear axis is 60 m/min, and the base machine already measures X, Y and Z directly. The patented tool changer works from a 15 pocket magazine at a 1.5 second chip to chip time, and a 25 pocket magazine at 1.7 seconds could be ordered instead. For five axis jobs the page lists a swivel rotary table tilting -100 to +120 degrees on its A axis, with a 200 mm table taking work up to 100 kg. SIEMENS is the control named, and the WH 3 workpiece handler was optional.
