Haas groups the TM-1P in its TM-P Series, the toolroom mills that carry a carousel changer with 10 pockets, and it is a three-axis model with 30.00 in of X travel. Y and Z each travel 16.00 in. The spindle runs up to 6000 rpm through a belt drive, rated at 7.5 hp. Torque reaches 33.0 ft-lbf when the spindle turns 1200 rpm. Holders are 40-taper, of CT or BT type. Pocket limits on the carousel are 3.5 in of diameter and 12.0 lb per tool. Average tool change time is 5.70 s, and chip to chip it is 6.50 s. All three axes rapid at 400 ipm, which is also the maximum cutting feed. The table is 47.8 in by 10.5 in, carries 3 T-slots, and holds 350 lb. The spindle nose can be as low as 4.0 in or as high as 20.0 in over the table. Supply may be single- or three-phase, though Europe has no single-phase version.
